Our Office


The Intelligent Sustainable Technologies Division is part of the Georgia Tech Research Institute, the nonprofit applied research arm of Georgia Tech. The division is housed in GTRI’s state-of-the-art Food Processing Technology Building, a world-class center for academic research, prototype systems and technology development, and public interaction.

Directions & Parking


The Food Processing Technology Building is conveniently located on the southwest edge of the Georgia Tech campus at the corner of North Avenue and Northside Drive, a location placing it just minutes from Atlanta area landmarks that include the Georgia World Congress Center, the Georgia Dome, Phillips Arena, the Georgia Aquarium, and Centennial Olympic Park. Numerous business-class hotels and eateries are also located nearby. The building is approximately a 30-minute drive from Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

From the North

Travel south on I-75/85. Exit at North Avenue. Turn right. Travel on North Avenue, pass Coca-Cola Headquarters. Go under the bridge and then take the first right onto Strong Street and proceed to the Guard Station. Once inside the gate, the building is immediately on the left.
 

From the South

Travel north on I-75/85. Exit at West Peachtree/Spring Street. Turn left at the 2nd light onto West Peachtree Street. Turn left at the 1st light onto North Avenue. Travel on North Avenue, pass Coca-Cola Headquarters. Go under the bridge and then take the first right onto Strong Street and proceed to Guard Station. Once inside the gate, the building is immediately on the left.
 

Guard Gate and Parking info

When arriving, tell the guard who you are coming to visit in the Food Processing Technology Building. They may request an ID. Complimentary visitor parking is limited to spots in the main traffic circle.
