Thin film nanostructure fabrication of multiferroic materials (ferroelectric and ferromagnetic) by method of pulsed laser deposition (PLD) as well as chemical vapor deposition (CVD)

Material characterization: high resolution x-ray diffraction (HR-XRD), electron microscopy (SEM, TEM), atomic/magnetic/piezo force microscopy (AFM, MFM, PFM)

Alternative/sustainable energy applications, focusing on solar, thermal, and piezoelectric energy conversion

High density energy storage, i.e., graphene-based supercapacitors
